Alone (jogger) was realized as acoustic architectual installation for bodycheck, 10. Triennale Kleinplastik Fellbach.
On the basis of the noises produced by the movement of the human body through space, alone (jogger) thematises the personal experience of jogging in a forest. There are no openings in the outside wall of the rotunda, whereas the interior surface is perforated all the way round. With five loudspeakers mounted at regular intervals to form a ring inside the wall, a five-channel audio sends the jogger’s breathing and running motions through the perforations into the rotunda.
